Your journey with Claridge Construction

Step 1 Defining your vision

Your journey starts with a one-on-one consultation.

We’ll get to know your goals, your individual and family dynamics, and the lifestyle you aspire to create within your home, while carefully reviewing the opportunities and nuances of your site to shape a design that responds beautifully to its setting.

This can include orientation, slopes and gradients to views, landscaping and council requirements.

From here, you may engage us through a Preliminary Services Agreement (PSA 1). This is the first formal step in shaping a concept plan that’s tailored to your needs and budget.

Step 2 Bringing your idea to life

Together, we start turning ideas into something tangible. At this stage you’ll receive:

A custom concept plan
3D visual renderings
A detailed estimate

This gives you clarity on both design and budget. Once you’re happy, we move into PSA 2 – covering full documentation, approvals and selections – so we can prepare a fixed-price contract.

Step 3 Interior design + approvals

We are now ready to work together on the next exciting stage of building your dream. The fun begins as you meet with our professional Interior Design consultant team. You will be personally guided through the Selection Process to ensure your home ‘ticks all your boxes’ and will have the look, feel and style you envision. At the same time, we work professionally and cost-effectively to complete all the necessary documentation. This will resolve all compliance issues and variables. Including:

Working drawings
Engineering (structural/foundations/retaining walls/site drainage)
Framing layouts and list
Joinery Design
Interior Designer Schedule
6 Star Energy Assessment
CITB Levy

Upon receiving Full DA and completed Interior Design Schedules, we can collate and present your completed project documentation and a fixed-price contract. Claridge Construction uses the current Housing Industry Association Plain Language Building Contract to ensure you are fully aware of all conditions affecting your interests.

Step 4 Time to build your dream

Before building begins, you’ll meet your site manager and construction team at an induction meeting. This is where you’ll learn how we’ll communicate, keep track of progress and celebrate milestones together.

During the build, you’ll have access to our Buildertrend portal for real-time updates, daily logs and photos. With only 15–20 projects underway at any time, your home gets the focus and attention it deserves.

Step 5 Handover + beyond

When construction is complete, we’ll walk through your new home together, ensuring every detail is as it should be. Then comes the best part, handing you the keys.

You’ll also receive ‘The Blueprint to Living Your Masterpiece’, a homeowner guide with maintenance tips, energy-saving advice and warranty details. Along with our 25-year structural guarantee and six-month maintenance period, you can feel confident knowing we’re here for you well beyond handover.
